Often we need to look a little deeper into underlying health imbalances, and the advanced programme provides us with more opportunity to test, reassess and adjust your plan for optimum results. This programme may be more suitable for you if you have been suffering with chronic health conditions such as gut health or autoimmunity for some time now and really feel your system needs a reboot. After an initial consultation, we will meet online another 5 times. This allows us to regularly check that the changes you are putting in place are having a positive impact!

Sex Hormones & Adrenal Function - DUTCH

The DUTCH Plus offers an extensive profile of sex and adrenal hormones plus melatonin, markers of oxidative stress and six organic acids. The adrenal part of this test examines the overall diurnal pattern of free cortisol, and the total distribution of cortisol metabolites.

This is the test for you if you are considering HRT, would like to monitor your detoxification of sex hormones, and want to gain insight into adrenal function.

Advanced Thyroid Hormones

Do you struggle with symptoms of thyroid issues and yet have been told by the doctor that your thyroid test result looks normal?
A routine GP blood test for thyroid will only look at TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone), which does not take into account whether you have sufficient nutrients for converting inactive T4 to active T3 hormone, or whether stress may be shunting you towards creating reverse T3 instead.
